Well we’ve now been open almost 2 months since the big shut down and it’s been going surprisingly well! Thanks so much to all the customers we’ve seen in store and also those who’ve supported us online, it means the world to us.
We’re going to be extending our opening hours from the reduced hours we have been operating so that our new opening times will be:
Monday: 10-5
Tuesday 10-5
Wednesday 10-5
Thursday 10-5
Friday 10-5
Saturday 10-5
Sunday: Closed
We’re expecting to go back to full 7 day opening probably in September.
The only exception to these hours is actually going to be this week, commencing 10th August as we will be on holiday(!) and be leaving you in the very capable hands of the lovely Becca. Our opening times for this week will be:
Monday 10th: Closed
Tuesday 11th: 10-5
Wednesday 12th: 10-5
Thursday 13th: Closed
Friday 14th: 10-5
Saturday 15th: 10-5
Sunday 16th: Closed
Monday 17th: Closed
And then we’ll be back to normal after this!

We are currenlty running slightly reduced opening hours, our new times are:
Monday: 10am – 4pm
Tuesday: 10am – 4pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 10am – 4pm
Friday: 10am – 4pm
Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: CLOSED
These are our new summer opening times, at least for now. We expect to go back to 7 days a week openign before the Winter season kicks off!

The past few months have been tough but there’s light at the end of the tunnel…
We have just loaded a selection of our Capita Winter 21 range on to the website for preorder!
As a nice little incentive to get your order in early and reserve your new board we are doing a 10% preorder discount on all the boards we have made available. We will also throw you in a couple of surprise goodies when you get your board!
We are expecting delivery of these beauties hopefully by early September, but we will keep you updated on expected delivery time.
Preordered boards can be collected from us at the shop, or if you’d prefer we can ship to anywhere in mainland UK for no extra cost. Just let us know how you’d like to get your board in the noted of your order. We will provide confirmation of this via email.

May’s here and we’re still closed. We’re making the best of it at the moment and enjoying family time.

We hope you’re all staying healthy and sane out there at the moment? Whilst the shop is currently closed we are busy trying to get all the new stock we’ve received online. Keep checking back daily for new stock!
We are still taking orders, and don’t worry we don’t have a huge warehouse with poor workers forced to work in confined conditions, it’s just me and Caroline dealing with orders and we’re 100% healthy and hygenic! We’re sending all orders out by Royal Mail 24 or 48 services, so any order should be with you very promptly.

Update 20/3/20
After much consideration we have taken the incredibly difficult decision to close Odyssey in St Johns Street temporarily, although our webstore will stil remain very much open for business!
Tomorrow, Saturday 21st March, will be our last day of regular opening hours (10-5).
With the ongoing crisis it just feels wrong to be encouraging people to come out shopping for inessential (but incredibly lovely 😉) items, when we should all be staying home as much as possible and helping the NHS and their wonderful workers who are doing their very best for us all.
That being said, our website remains open if you would still like to shop with us, if you feel able. We are incredibly grateful for each and every order we receive.
We are currently doing our best to get everything online, including the new summer collections which have started to arrive(!) All winter gear is on sale and we will be offering a discount on new season stuff too as a thank you for your support as soon as it’s online.
We will be going in to the shop everyday still to sort out orders and making sure everything is despatched as soon as possible. With this in mind if there is anything you really do need to come in for, let us know and we should be able to arrange this.
Hopefully this will only be a very temporary measure and we will post regular updates. Thank you for your understanding.
