We are super stoked to be a stockist of the latest evolution of snowboard binding, the FASE quick entry bindings. We will be stocking both the Bataleon FASE bindings and the ThirtyTwo FASE bindings, which offer slightly different levels of performance and flex.

We were lucky enough to testride the Bateleon Blaster FASE bindings this January and were blown away by how good they are. A super simple and quick entry system and then you have all the feel and performance of a regular 2 strap binding.

The bindings are basically a hybrid of other quick entry systems like the Nidecker Supermatic. The highback leans back to allow easy rear entry with your boot and then as you step down the mechanism engages and snaps the highback into place. All that’s left to do is fasten the ankle strap and ride!

In the beginning… 

18 years ago today we first opened our doors to the lovely people in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.  We opened initially as a surf shop and did really well with brands like Rip Curl and Reef. 18 years later they are still going strong for us! We diversified online early on  when we found our customers loved being able to shop online for sale skiwear! This was also great in lockdown!

As we move forward we have some brilliant brands coming with us! Burton Snowboards will always be a firm favourite, alongside Volcom. As always we welcome our customers to visit. We offer a full snowboard boot fit free of charge, and heat moulding. Summer is coming!

Now that summer is here we specialise in beachwear. As you may know if you’ve spent any time talking with Chris, we are massive fans of the Burton Step On bindings here at Odyssey and are stoked that the winter 2023/24 collection of boots and bindings have arrived.

As the last few seasons, stock is likely to be very limited so we’d advise getting in to see us as soon as possible if you are interested. We have a couple of boards set up with the Step Ons in store so you can get your feet in a pair of boots and get a feel for how good the system works.

We also have the Step Ons available online and are selling them as Packages and also selling the boots and bindings separately.

This season for men we have chosen to stock the Burton Photon and Burton Swath boots, in our opinion the 2 boots most suited to the majority oif riders. Both of these boots available in a couple of colour options.
